课外空间 | 基于语料库的初中英语教材中的文化形象呈现研究

摘要：英语教材作为教育话语的一部分，是国家形象自塑的重要媒介，对教材中呈现的文化形象进行研究是讲好中国故事、促进国际传播的重要途径。本研究运用语料库方法，采用Wmatrix 5 分析工具，以初中英语教材中的输入性文本为主自建语料库考查其语篇主题语义域，并运用张虹、李晓楠（2022）的英语教材文化呈现分析框架探讨文化形象建构的特征，有利于一线教师对初中英语教材的文化形象进行深入挖掘，有意识地提高学生的批判思维能力、跨文化交际能力、用英语讲好中国故事的能力，使初中英语教材更好地为提高我国的文化软实力和国家传播能力服务。
